Nursery Information
Auchenlodment Nursery is a non-denominational and co-education class for children aged 3 years to pre-school age.

The capacity of the nursery is 60. 30 places are allocated ito the morning session and 30 places are allocated to the afternoon session.

Children are eligible for entry to the nursery the term following their 3rd birthday. Application forms for a nursery place are available at reception and should be returned on completion.
Nursery Hours
9:00am - 11:30am and 12:30pm - 3:00pm

Morning session all children must arrive between 9:00am and 9:15am and be collected between 11:15am and 11:30am.

Afternoon session all children must be arrive between 12:30pm and 12:45pm and be collected between 2:45pm and 3:00pm.

In the Interests of pupil safety the nursery security system will operate during school hours, and therefore parents are asked to adhere closely to the above timings.
Admission to Nursery
All Renfrewshire Nursery classes adhere to the Councils admission policy and all applications are dealt with in line with its guidelines.

The schools nursery class is a member of the local admissions panel which is made up of nearby nursery classes & nursery schools. All applications are discussed at this panel meeting and agreement about the allocation of places is made by the members. Parents will receive notification when their child is allocated a place and information will accompany this about starting dates and times.

Transfer to Primary One
Before leaving nursery a transfer of information record for each child will be prepared by nursery staff. With parental permission, this may be shared with the staff of the school the child will attend to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of educaton.
